AbinBev is recruiting a Marketing & Trade Marketing Manager (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • The primary purpose for this role is to develop, champion and drive trade execution strategies in all segments. Develop, adopt and localize Marketing and Brand strategies in line with the Zone strategies and ensure excellent marketing representation of the brands in line with their individual VBBP and VBIs within the Namibian market
Duties
Marketing
  • Consumer research and understanding consumer drivers
  • Adopt existing marketing campaigns from the brand team, tweak and localize to fit within the Namibian context and consumer behaviours
  • Conceptualize, create and execute original local marketing strategies and campaigns for key focus brands
  • Develop and monitor campaign KPI’s and ROI
  • Align Marketing strategies to trade marketing execution strategies
  • Develop and implement 180 or 360 communication and media plans over multiple platforms for intrinsic strategies and marketing campaigns
  • Liaise and produce brand team assignments or requests
  • Represent Namibia Marketing within the zone space, conveying and demonstrating tangible plans and results
  • Educate and immerse in-country sales, trade marketing and marketing teams into understanding the brand purposes, personalities, consumers and strategic goals
  • Analyze and report on Portfolio performance by brand and pack and offer recommendations on current performance based on Market Share, Volume per region, Economic factors, financials, pricing and strategic targets
  • Establish and explore strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage and brief agencies on marketing deliverables or campaigns
  • Plan, track and own the Marketing budget in it’s entirety
Trade Marketing
  • Understand BU trade marketing strategies and the alignment thereof to local trade schemes.
  • Develop Trade Programs and campaigns across all segments in collaboration with Marketing Zone team and Marketing plans
  • Manage and drive adoption of Trade Programs in the Namibian market
  • Keep track of Trade Program KPI’s
  • Develop and implement a Category Management Strategy
  • Monitor and track Category Management execution KPI’s
  • Gain engagement of customer and internal AB InBev stakeholders on the Modern Trade Category Management Strategy and ensure execution in trade
  • Develop and agree key measures, trackers, learning’s processes that help entrench and improve our overall trade marketing and sales execution capability
  • Build capability within sales team and trade marketing team on Trade Marketing Approach and Programs to help them win in market
  • Guide Trade reviews, evaluating their performance and highlight strengths/weaknesses, and identify threats/opportunities so as to optimize their growth a going forward
  • Research and find new and exciting trade material concepts that will set us apart from ordinary trade execution
  • Ensure speed to market with regards to implementation of trade programs
  • Coolers and draught implementation strategy oversight
  • Plan, submit and track Sales and CAPEX budgeting proces
Management
  • Report and present Marketing and trade marketing plans and results to internal stakeholders
  • Oversee budgeting process
  • Create and develop PDP’s for trade marketing team
  • Foster a high performance culture within trade marketing and sales teams
Requisites
  • 3 year Commercial Degree qualification is beneficial
  • Min - 4 years’ experience in a sales/marketing/FMCG environment is beneficial
  • Valid unendorsed driver’s license
  • Computer literacy and experience working with Microsoft Office
  • Photo editing suite knowledge is beneficial
  • Excellent administration skills
