Requisites
- Minimum Qualifications:
 
- National Diploma: Electrical Engineering
 
- Candidates with S3/S4 Technician qualifications will be considered
 
- Advanced Supervisory training
 
- Preferred Qualifications:
 
- Bachelor Degree: Electrical Engineering or equivalent
 
- Specific Knowledge:
 
- Technical knowledge of MV & LV construction and maintenance practices and procedures
 
- Hazard and Safety on HV Switching up to 44kV
 
- NamPower network and power system layout
 
- MV Cable jointing & termination
 
- Local authority rules and regulations
 
- NESC
 
- CENORED MV network layout
 
- Distribution technology
 
- Intermediate network protection systems
 
- Testing equipment & procedures

- Irregular working hours to attend to ad hoc area needs
 
- Available for duty in crisis or emergency situation
