Team Lead External Reporting & Compliance Management

Description

• Job grade: DL (Paterson Grading)
• To provide an effective and efficient financial management information system, and quality cost management and control

Duties

• Review statutory reports to external bodies to ensure completeness accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Review and ensure optimal utilization of human and material resource allocation within the country and make recommendations to the CFO
• Develop Unit Heads and monitor their performance in order to enhance their abilities and tactical management skills
• Monitor total compliance with all regulations through the unit head and make recommendations to the CFO
• Review and agree short term action plans of such unit within the group with the Unit Head
• Take necessary and prompt corrective actions to ensure the achievement of the objectives of the group

Requisites

• A relevant Bachelor’s
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a bank. Experience in auditing will be an added advantage
• Knowledge and understanding of banking operations (Domestic & International Operations)
• Good accounting and financial management skills
• Good reconciliation skills (data entry /documentation)
• Financial analysis / interpretation
• Namibian citizen or holder of permanent residency preferred
