Description

- If your application is successful, your learnership will begin after your honours degree is completed or once you’ve received your
- Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA)
- You’ll be Performing audit procedures at various clients in different industries resulting in an opinion on their financial records
- Progressing steadily throughout the 3 years of articles to qualify as a Chartered Accountant (CA Nam)
Requisites
- Namibian citizenship / permanent residency
- Grade 11 with an above average academic track record
- Mathematics and English in grade 12 with 65% or more in all their subjects
- Provisional university acceptance to study towards a B.Accounting CA degree in Namibia or South Africa OR proof of registration indicating that they are currently enrolled for a B.Accounting CA degree at a SAICA accredited university
- Overall average of 65% or more for 1st and 2nd year of study at university level (not applicable to current grade 12 learners)
- Overall average of 60% or more for 3rd year of study (not applicable to current grade 12 learners)
- Proficiency in English and strong communication skills
- Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Have accounting as a subject
- Achieve 75% or more in mathematics and accounting in grade 11 & 12
- Demonstrate versatility at school or university level - activities may include participation in a sport on a National level, occupying a leadership position, participating in a cultural extra mural activity, participating in a science fair, participating in a community project etc
