Agra is recruiting a Manager: Security Infrastructure, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- The successful incumbent will be based at Corporate Office
Duties
- Department Management:
- Lead and manage the Security Infrastructure department ensuring alignment with Agra’s goals and objectives
- Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the department providing monthly report to senior management
- Retail Branch Management:
- Ensure the security infrastructure solutions are robust and up-to-date in the branches
- Responsible for management of stock for installation: availability, short and excess stock
- Conduct security assessments and audits at client locations
- Install and maintain security systems, including surveillance, access control, and perimeter alarm systems
- Coordinate with retail branch management to address security concerns of clients
- Third-Party and Commercial Installations:
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors for security installations
- Oversee the planning, execution, and quality control of commercial security installations
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for all installations
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements with third-party providers
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the security infrastructure market
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and potential clients
- Create and present proposals for new projects and initiatives
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote security infrastructure services
Requisites
- Qualifications & Attributes:
- Namibian citizenship
- A Grade 12 Certificate
- A tertiary qualification in Business Management or related field will serve as an advantage
- A minimum of 5 years experience in security infrastructure management with a strong focus on retail & commercial installations
- Exceptional understanding of the principles of networking and IP Camera technologies
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management
- In-depth knowledge of security systems, technologies, and industry standards
- Previous work experience related to IP or CCTV cameras
- Computer literacy (MS Office Package)
- Proficiency in English
- A valid driver’s license
