Resort Manager

Description

• These roles will reports to the Senior Operations Manager: North and the job incumbents will be responsible for providing an effective coordination and administration of the day-to-day operations at the Resort/ Camp sites to ensure the quality of customer services delivery
• The job incumbent will ensures that proper planning of the operations, optimise the use of human/financial resources to create value for shareholder and generate profits which can positively contribute towards the success of the NWR strategic objectives
• The incumbents will work from: Popa Falls, Khorixas & Gross Barmen

Requisites

• National Diploma in Hospitality Management (NQF level 6) or Grade12 with 5 years relevant working experience in hospitality and tourism industry
• At least have three (3) years of work experience in Hospitality Industry, of which 2 years should have been served at supervisory level
• Valid driver's license (Code B)
• Skills and Abilities:
• Strong understanding of operations management and hospitality industry practices
• High level of confidence in communication and interpersonal skills
• Entrepreneurship, creative mind-sets and negotiating skills
• Good knowledge of Innkeeper system
• Knowledge of sustainable practices and environmental management
• Ability to multi-task and demonstrate emotional composure
• Emotionally mature and culture sensitivity
• Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Effective decision-making skills
• High personal integrity and work ethics
• Basic financiaI management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
