Duties
- Perform research, analysis and contribute to the formation of Ashburton Investment’s house view
- Develop and implement processes and investment strategies across segregated client mandates and unit trust portfolios
- Monitor, report and present portfolio performance to colleagues and clients and assist in the construction and management of portfolios based on client mandates and applicable investment policies
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, credit analysis and financial modelling of portfolios based on suitable investment instruments available in the local and international capital markets
- Assisting with timely and efficient administration, settlement and pricing of portfolio assets
- Collaborate with the various business units and investment teams across the group to identify new products and solutions geared towards identified market segments
- Regular publication of articles and thought leadership on the Namibian investment environment
Requisites
- Are a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Portfolio Management, Economics, Investment Management, Finance
- Qualified CA or CFA Charterholder
- Have a minimum of 5-7 years’ relevant experience
- Experience in Bloomberg
- Advance Excel Knowledge
- Have excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Have a strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
