Bank Windhoek is recruiting an Access Control, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • Ensure excellent access control measures at Bank Windhoek Head Office, Capricorn Corner, Capricorn House, and Capricorn Group Building. Maintaining a high level of security control at specified points to ensure the safety of staff and customers
Duties
  • Administration:
  • Ensure access entrance is secured at agreed times by the Bank at Capricorn Corner, Bank Windhoek Building, Capricorn Group Building, and Capricorn House
  • Control staff and customer entrance to specified buildings
  • Issue temporary/visitors access control cards
  • Verify permanent and temporary staff members' access cards on ad hoc basis
  • Maintain a logbook of all customers entering and leaving the specified buildings
  • Inform the Access Control Administrative Officer in the event of access control readers not working
  • Inform the Helpdesk 24-hour team if ATMs stationed at entrances are offline
  • Immediately report illegal acts/incidents, any attempts of unauthorised entry, and all suspicious or unusual activities
  • Notify the Manager Operations Support in the event of an emergency situation
  • Carry out ad hoc duties relating to access/security control that might be required by the Manager Operations Support
  • Customer Service:
  • Maintaining an alert state of mind
  • Always be friendly to customers and staff entering the building
  • Answer all incoming calls from staff for access arrangements
  • Verify all visitors with department/staff member to be visited
  • Issue and maintain access cards to all permanent staff
  • Must be willing to do any other reasonable and lawful instruction as given to the incumbent by his/her supervisor on time
Requisites
  • Grade 12
  • Experience in Security industry added advantage
  • Interpersonal skills
