Operator: Pallet Wrapper

Description

• Reporting to the Manager: Packing, the Operator: Pallet Wrapper is responsible to wrap all pallets after packing is concluded according to quality standards

Duties

• Keep count of all pallets wrapped
• Ensure that all pallets are serviceable (suitable/good condition) before starting to wrap
• Ensure that pallets have been packed correctly in order to ensure safe stacking
• Ensure the functionality & maintenance of the pallets wrap machine
• Label each wrapped pallet with the designated operator sticker
• Perform ADHOC activities as required by Manager
• Maintain hygiene standards with regards to the equipment and work area
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies of the Company
• Adhere to SHEQ regulations at all times
• Employee is required to perform housekeeping duties as per Health and Safety regulations
• Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Comply with all legal requirements pertaining to Food Safety and Health & Safety

Requisites

• Grade 12 with a minimum of 6 month’s experience in a packaging / production plant
• Effective verbal and written communication in English
• An additional language will be an added advantage
