FNB Namibia is recruiting an Accountant, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To provide support to the business unit by applying accounting principles in monitoring and analyzing financial data
Duties
- Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
- Perform financial analysis and planning to ensure accurate financial data against budget
- Compile financial reports that adhere to financial reporting guidelines as set out by FirstRand
- Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development
- Ensure development and continuous value add improvement to operational processes
- Manages risks in own area of responsibility
- Creates solutions to meet customer demands to deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
Requisites
- Minimum Qualification: Relevant Financial Management/Accounting Degree or Advanced Diploma
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar environment of which 1 to 2 years ideally at a junior specialist level
- 5 years post degree experience required
