Description
- To track the lifecycle of the various funds to ensure portfolio returns
Duties
- Assist Manager alternative investments in monitoring the global alternative investments portfolio by ensuring the various funds create value to portfolio companies and exit timeously
- Track the lifecycle of various funds
- Review independent valuations before each annual report is singed off
- Fund manager selection and operational due diligence
- Management of mandate agreements
- Evaluating potential investment opportunities
- Risk & Compliance management
- Carry out ad hoc projects and internal presentations
- Personal effectiveness competency and development
- Takes responsibility for business improvement surrounding span of control
Requisites
- Job-related Qualifications & Experience:
- B. Comm/ Finance/Economics
- 4 years’ experience in an investment environment with at least 2 years’ experience in private markets
- Business Management consulting experience advantageous
- Certification in financial modelling and financial statement analysis
- Coursework/training in private equity
- CFA, CAIA, FMVA, advantageous
- Knowledge of:
