NSA is recruiting an Application Programmers, in Windhoek, Namibia.Duties
- Final data collection tools and application in place (CAPI Pilot, PES, Main)
- Census training Manuals in place all phases
- Main Census conducted and Final data set in place
- Reporting and monitoring platforms in place
Requisites
- A Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Informatics, computing or any related fields with min 2 years programming experience, an honors degree would be an added advantage
- Please note that the position requires the frequent use of a personal computer
- Therefore, brining your own laptop will be an added advantage
- Added Advantages:
- Proven software development experience (through GIT or other published work)
- Experience in any of the following programming languages, frameworks and libraries and web applications i.e. Java, HTML5, CSS3, PHP, C#, R, Python, Node, Angular/Viejas, XML, JSON, VB
- Experience in working with integrated development environments (IDE) e.g. Microsoft .NET, Python, R, R-studio and Anaconda)
- Working with system version control Git and GitHub, SourceTree
- Experience with Mobile application development
