Namib Poultry is recruiting an Artistan: Welder (Fix Term) [Processing Plant/Maintenance], to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- Responsible for Welding functions within the department
- General:
- Cut, Shape, Join and repair metal parts of Iron and Steelwork (Mild/Stainless) structures, pressure pipes, boilers etc.
- Fabricates and repair varied metal products using various welding techniques
- Ad Hoc:
- Performing of additional Ad Hoc tasks as and when required by Management
Requisites
- Grade 12 (NQF 4)
- Relevant Diploma and or Qualification (NQF 5)
- 2 years’ experience in a technical background will be an added advantage
- Proficient in English, being bilingual will be advantageous
- Namibian citizen
- Must be able to weekends, overtime and on public holidays as and when required
