Namib Poultry is recruiting an Assistant: Maintenance [Processing Plant/Maintenance] (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- Attend to mechanical installations, repairs, maintenance and breakdowns and performing scheduled
preventative maintenance
- Ensure maximum mechanical uptime
- Complete maintenance job requests
- Perform systematic and correct fault finding
- Affect repairs according to manufacturer's specifications and maintenance processes
- Test equipment before handover
- Follow-up and feed-back reporting as required
- Clean and service all equipment as required
- Strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Bio Security policies and procedures
- Adhere to supplier`s warranty instructions and company rules when repairing equipment
- Perform ad hoc tasks as needed
Requisites
- Grade 12 (NQF 4)
- 2 years' work experience in a technical field
- Proficient in English, being bilingual will be advantageous
- Namibian citizen
- Must be able to work day/night shifts, weekends, overtime and on public holidays
