Alistair Group is recruiting an Assistant Operations Lead (Manager) (m/f), to be based in Walvis Bay, Namibia.
Description
- Providing logistic support and overseeing the overall logistics processes. Planning, management, and coordination of logistics support operations to ensure smooth shipping, deliveries and collections
Duties
- Obtain and ensure highest levels of customer service and efficiently attend to client’s requests and queries promptly
- Liaise with client/supplier effectively in accordance with the Alistair operational process
Ensuring correct documentation and efficient border crossings
- Monitor orders placed until the goods have been confirmed delivered track process
- Ensure the transport service is executed at a high standard and cargo is delivered on time
- Should the service offering be below par, investigate all service failures are reported as well as any claims or incidents within a tight time frame/deadline
- Obtain invoices from the relevant service providers
Requisites
- Completed relevant Degree
- 3 - 5 years Operations management/supervisory experience
- 5 years logistics/warehousing/mining industry experience
