  • As an Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution
Duties
  • Invite and give in the moment feedback in a constructive manner
  • Share and collaborate effectively with others
  • Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise
  • Handle, manipulate and analyse data and information responsibly
  • Follow risk management and compliance procedures
  • Keep up-to-date with developments in area of specialism
  • Communicate confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner - verbally and in the materials I produce
  • Build and maintain an internal and external network
  • Seek opportunities to learn about how PwC works as a global network of firms
  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
  • Consult on remuneration and benefits, remuneration benchmarking and pay structuring
  • Conduct remuneration and benefits surveys
  • Assist with consultation on HR strategy & policies, performance management
  • Assist with drafting job description, job evaluations and grading
  • Assist with employee tax and regulatory compliance processes
  • Provide project management support to the team
  • Assist with any other related ad-hoc requests from Partner and Manager
Requisites
  • Must be a Namibian Citizen
  • Must have a grade 12 / applicable diploma with 1 to 2 years’ experience in the human resources discipline
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint or Google Suite
  • Human Resources consulting background
  • Basic payroll and employee tax knowledge/experience
  • Basic HR strategic planning knowledge
  • Willing to learn and take on challenges
  • Good work ethic and ability to produce quality
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to consult & engage with HR and related stakeholders
  • Must be able to meet deadlines, perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work in a pressured and stressful environment
  • Good time management and organising skills
  • Ability to work with teams and some project management skills
