O&L Leisure is recruiting a Baker (m/f), to be based in Swakopmund, Namibia.
Duties
- Responsible for the production of baked goods for required hotel food and beverage outlets
- Oversee and operate bakery section
- Ensure optimum production, quality, and taste of bakery products
- Monitor and control food cost
- Estimate baking needs, requisition adequate supplies, inventories supply, and keep records of products made and used
- Ensures bakery and equipment are maintained according to proper health and safety as well sanitation standards
- Assist in the development of new bakery products
- Procurement/Food Financial controls
Requisites
- 3-year apprenticeship in bakery or Diploma in artisan baking
- Minimum of 5 years of practical/hands-on experience in a bakery or Hotel with a bakery section
- Leadership Skills
