GIPF is recruiting a Benefits Administrator, to be based in Mariental, Namibia.
Description
- To provide all administration, operations, and management services, and ensure accurate records processes in line with the approved policies, procedures and systems requirements
- Department: Operations
- Reports to: Senior Administrator
Duties
- Ensure accurate records processes in line with procedures and systems requirement
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of claims received
- Identify any problems arising in the processing of benefits pay-out
- Ensure adherence to regulations to minimize risk of fraud and inaccurate benefits payments
- Perform specific data verifications on all benefits claims
- Receive batch of claims for processing
- Perform specific operations audits and validation on member data or searches of specific date
- Receive requests for member data amendments from member or personnel officers
- Detect, investigate and resolve fraudulent documents and cases
- Verify Section 14 transfer calculations and benefits processing
- Verify and process requested quotations per SLAs
- Liaise with employer personnel officers on all operations matters
Requisites
- Job-related qualifications and experience:
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or Commerce (NQA Level 6/7)
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in administration/financial environment
- Pension Fund related experience will be an added advantage
- The incumbent should have the following knowledge, skills and Attributes:
- Knowledge of:
- Accounting principles, administrative processes, benefits payable and options, all claims processing on system, creation, verification and auditing of member data on systems, payroll interpretation, pension fund rules, act and regulations
- Skills:
- Analytical skills, Administration, complaints handling, customer/user service, numerical ability, interpersonal skills, organizing, planning and coordination, presentation, prioritizing time management and investigations
- Attributes:
- High-stress tolerance, patience, sense of urgency, assertiveness, helpfulness, accurate, accountability, integrity, and team orientation
