Namibia Dairies is recruiting a Brand and Projects Manager (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To plan, organize, lead and manage all activities around the warehouse and optimize the distribution of stock
Duties
- Manage the optimization of service levels to depots by loading according to STOs
- Assist with maintaining forklift checklists
- Pro-actively assist and liaise with Logistics Supervisor to optimize the operation of the warehouse
- Coordinate the stock receiving, storing, and issuing process daily by leading and delegating all work duties within the warehouse
- Maintain stock and follow-up on variances daily by investigating stock discrepancies
- Verify physical stock received and issued vs. stock received, ordered, or invoiced by production or to depots
- Verify pallets issued back by the depots
- Record stock levels and ensure stock rotation according to FIFO standards
- Manage pallet stock control by keeping track of pallet movement from and to depots
- Plan and manage stock counts daily
- Verify items to be scrapped as well as Back-to-Stock items returned from the depots
- Manage housekeeping of the Warehouse
- Manage reporting employee’s performance and development
Requisites
- Grade 12
- 2-3 years working experience in warehousing
- 2 or more years Supervisory experience
- Knowledge in distribution and stock control
- SAP knowledge
