NAMDIA is recruiting a Brand Manager (Diamond Value Chain) (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • As part of the MDS&B management team, contribute to and shape both business/MDS&B and branding strategy, as well as the client branding engagement strategy that aims to optimize cooperative relationships in the value chain and potentially mutual branding strategies to downstream client interfaces
  • To develop, manage and constantly refine the NAMDIA branding approach and strategies to achieve branding value and market/client impact, and create the brand guide/manual and its largely digitized implementation across branding interfaces, for consistent follow through and thus ensure brand focus
  • To inform and guide the development of the branding strategies that serve ultimately diamonds margin optimization, while reflecting authentic and value based corporate citizenship. To develop the products branding approach with diamonds value chain partners, increasingly establishing Namibian diamonds in discerning niche markets
  • To direct and integrate the public relations and communications functionalities and ensure operationalization of these in alignment with adding optimal brand and image value
Duties
  • Branding Strategy Inputs and Implementation Plan effectiveness
  • Brand Development and Coordination Services

  • Effectiveness of Brand follow through of NAMDIA’s diamonds to retail client interface.
  • Joint Branding Projects
  • Optimization of NAMDIA brand value share in channel
  • Media engagement and leveraging
  • PR Plan and Services Effectiveness
  • Communication plan and service effectiveness
  • Namdia Image Integrity
  • Branding integration effectiveness in MDS and B, externally and internally
Requisites
  • Honours Degree in Marketing, or related fields
  • NQF Level 8
  • Ten (10) years appropriate experience in this area of expertise of which at least six (6) years in a professional role and at least 2 years heading up support department
  • Special Requirements/Licenses
