Agra is recruiting a Clerk, to be based in Otjiwarongo, Namibia.
Description
- The successful incumbent will be based in Otjiwarongo.
Duties
- Transaction capturing at auctions: captures all buyer and seller information accurately and timeously
- Capturing of all agreed aspects of activities at auction (before, during and after the auction)
- Retrieves information, lists/ information/ records (before, during and after the auction)
- Uses register to verify information
- Maintains contact with buyers and sellers during the auction
- Checking of data and basic reconciling
- Sourcing of animals and liaising with veterinary services
- Providing excellent customer service after conclusion of auctions-Travelling long distances and overnighting at different locations on a frequent basis
- Adhering to company’s vehicle policy rules and regulations as well as the Namibian Roads Authority laws
- Managing service records and maintenance of company vehicle
- Representing Agra at Farmers’ unions days or other relevant forums
Requisites
- Namibian citizenship
- A Grade 12 certificate
- Minimum 3 years related experience
- Must have knowledge of livestock farming (strong requirement)
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office package)
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license
- Must be willing and able to travel extensively
