Hangana Seafood is recruiting a Commercial Director (m/f), to be based in Walvis Bay, Namibia.
Description
- The Commercial Director is responsible for planning, developing and implementing commercial strategies based on company goals and objectives with the main goal to support and accelerate growth. In addition to this, the role is responsible for the Hangana brand strategy and acts as the 'brand guardian' to establish and maintain brand integrity across all Hangana products, initiatives and communications. This includes full innovation and/or renovation strategies for Hangana products and services
Duties
- Develop established commercial business plans for Hangana business units
- Lead the building and development of the commercial team function necessary to support the business plans
- Part of the senior leadership team and contributes to the development and delivery of the Hangana strategic plan
- Coordinate commercial activities across Hangana
- Identify, develop and coordinate new business opportunities
- Develop and monitor the Hangana commercial budget & business unit KPIs
- Lead the commercial activities relating to the development of joint ventures, strategic alliances and other key initiatives
- Responsible for contract proposals and negotiations for accounts involving global clients across multiple regions
- Strategizes to align the company around the brand’s voice, direction, vision and mission
- Perform market and consumer research to analyze threats and opportunities as well as analyze brand positioning and consumer insights
- Measures and reports performance of brand marketing campaigns, and assesses ROI and KPIs
Requisites
- Relevant BCom/Marketing Degree
- At least 10 years of Commercial management experience within the fishing industry, with strong expertise in Marketing
