FNB Namibia is recruiting a Commercial Property Finance Lending and Advisory Manager, in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • To develop a comprehensive lending strategy aligned to Segment strategic objectives in area of responsibility to proactively acquire new clients and develop, maintain and expand existing client portfolios
Duties
  • Provide input into the budget and manage and report on budget usage that reflects delivery of planned work within agreed parameters
  • Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
  • Creates solutions to meet customer demands
  • Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
  • Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration, and innovation
  • Manages risks in own area of responsibility
  • Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions
  • Identify opportunities to expand customer base with potentially profitable customers
  • Provide input into the development of the tactical strategy, and develop and implement a supporting operational strategy
  • Drive and increase an average balance of a specific portfolio of liabilities as defined in the financial report of the business
  • Drive and increase an average balance of a specific portfolio of advances as defined in the financial report of the business
  • Achieve market share and revenue target by growing assets; liabilities and non-interest revenue from existing clients and by acquiring new clients
  • Track, control, and influence sales activities with the specific aim to achieve previously determined sales team targets for Key Clients
  • Maximize Business Portfolio cross sell opportunities and strengthen Key Client Relationships
  • Structure complex specialized lending proposals and compile proposals in collaboration with Credit Origination team for presentation at the credit committee
  • Define a portfolio growth strategy in line with predetermined growth targets, which are determined on an annual basis through conducting competitor analysis and providing innovating new value propositions
  • Keep abreast of policies, strategies and initiatives, both bank related as well as National within area of accountability
  • Monitor and provide information relative to the outlook and conditions relating specialized lending in area of responsibility
  • Deliver training to relevant staff in respect of specialized lending products and processes where necessary
  • Generate leads for the Branch and Area Sales teams
  • Advise on FNB's specialized lending products and services
Requisites
  • Minimum Qualification:
  • Relevant Post Graduate Degree in Finance or Economics or Accounting
  • Experience:
  • 3 to 5 years experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at junior (entry level) management level
