Allan Gray is recruiting a Consultant (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
  • Provide clients and independent financial advisors with exceptional service, and accurate and efficient administration
  • The successful candidate will form part of the Unitized Team, focusing on the following responsibilities:
  • Building and maintaining relationships with Namibian clients (Retail and Institutional) and independent financial advisors investing in the Namibian unit trust funds
  • Timely and accurate processing of all client instructions (contributions, withdrawals and switches) and provide excellent client service
  • Following up on any outstanding documents in order to finalize client instructions
  • Keeping accurate notes of all client interactions and ensuring all documentation is saved and updated as required
  • Maintaining client and regulatory information
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls
  • The candidate will be responsible for the following servicing activities:
  • Pro-active servicing of clients
  • Client on-boarding, terminations and transfers
  • Initial and ongoing compliance (FIA, FATCA, etc.)
  • Handling of all client requests and queries
  • Client feedback/surveys
  • Managing client’s static data
  • Assist with the design and documentation of processes, systems and measurements of the team
  • Liaising with stakeholder teams to ensure an excellent client experience
  • Perform other duties that may reasonably assist in the efficient operations of Allan Gray Namibia
  • The candidate will be responsible for the following administrative activities:
  • Capturing and validating daily contributions and withdrawals for the Namibia Funds
  • Monthly and ad hoc processing of Namibia interest, bank charges, management fees and performance fees
  • Reconciling the Subscription bank accounts
  • Co-ordination of any large withdrawals which require repatriation of funds with Trading, and inform administrators of withdrawal date
  • Maintaining beneficiary Accounts on Standard Bank (BOL)
  • Generating and sending dealer instructions
  • Generating recurring and ad hoc reporting for the Namibia Unit Trust Funds
  • Generating regulatory reports and submissions for FATCA/CRS
Requisites
  • B Com commerce degree in Finance, Accounting or Investments
  • Current related experience in a similar role (Preferably 2 – 5 years experience)
  • Preference will be given to Namibian citizens
