Description

- Primary Purpose of The Position:
- To provide the necessary support and assistance to production in order to ensure optimum efficiencies
Duties
- Daily production planning and raw material ordering
- Maintenance scheduling in conjunction with Production and Workshop
- Maintain, implement and improve existing as well as new quality management, food safety and other certification systems
- Implement and maintain standards and measurements to monitor as well as improve efficiencies and provide accurate/timeous reports
- Manage & control packaging materials i.e.; stock/orders/design/supplier contracts
- Manage & control raw materials i.e.; flour/semolina/additives/other
- Manage & control personnel matters i.e.; time and attendance, leave, protective clothing, etc.
- Manage & control office administration
- Manage subordinates and their activities
- Carry out tasks given by Superiors
Requisites
- Degree (NQF7) in Industrial Engineering/Business Administration/Procurement and Supply Chain Management with 2 years’ experience OR
- Diploma (NQF6) in Industrial Engineering/Business Administration/Procurement and Supply Chain
- Management with 5 years’ experience
- Proficient in English, being bilingual will be an added advantage
- Technical background will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of ISO, HACCP and Health & Safety Standards will be an added advantage
- Computer literate with a good mastering of Microsoft Office
- Namibian citizen
