FNB Namibia is recruiting a Corporate Transactional Banking Manager, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • To manage stakeholders’ relationship, for all Transactional banking products used by RMB clients and RMB owned Transactional solutions used by FNB Commercial clients and manage the returns of these products
Duties
  • Manage stakeholders’ relationship, for all Transactional banking products used by RMB clients and RMB owned Transactional solutions used by FNB Commercial clients and manage the returns of these products
  • Maintain an expert knowledge of the Regulator’s directives and guidelines, understanding how this impact the business and ensure that RMB’s transactional banking solutions remain compliant and demonstrate an understanding of the new product commercialization roadmap and strategic innovations taking place across the bank
  • Understand key competitors, new technologies, sector dynamics and key macro environmental forces to analyse and identify bank -wide opportunities and challenges for transactional products and contribute to the attainment of the Transactional Banking budget by formulating
  • annual tactics to enable enhanced revenue growth
  • Understand the Company, Corporate and Transactional Banking (TxB) objectives to support Segment transactional sales tactics. This includes a detailed understanding of transactional banking products and solutions
  • Facilitate the conversation of knowledge and ideas into new or improved products, processes and services through engagement with the relevant product houses and proactively engage with service teams to ensure that solutions offered to clients are appropriate and meet the FirstRand client service standards
Requisites
  • Relevant post-graduate degree (e.g CA / CFA / Analytics / MBA) CFA/CA advantageous
  • 5 to 8 relative years’ experience in similar environment, of which 2 to 3 years should be a Management level
  • Excellent understanding of Transactional banking products typically used by Corporate businesses
  • Excellent Analytical, Negotiation and communication skills
  • Understanding of business processes definition and re-engineering requirements
  • Understanding of project management and system, data or business testing requirements principles
  • Experience in implementing complex and/or multiple projects/ initiatives in line with business vision and strategy
  • Experience in the analysis and compilation of business information and intelligence
  • Ability to engage and persuade senior client stakeholders eg. CFO, Treasurer in supporting either sales or service failures
