Engen is recruiting a Credit Controller (m/f), in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To effectively manage customer accounts within Engen Namibia in line with the credit policy and maximize the collection of accounts receivable and ensure accuracy of customer statements, thereby minimizing bad debts and contributing to the company's cash flow
Duties
- Administer credit order referrals in line with LOA's to minimize risk
- Implement and maintain systems to maximize collections on debtors, minimize bad debt and debtor days to achieve overall group targets
- Record payments received, non-product debit and credit notes, open items management and clearing of payments
- Ensure business controls and governance (Accounts Receivable)
- Ensure management of information system (TAR)
- Understand regulatory framework and principles to, and ensure compliance thereof
- Ensure VAT Compliance
- Protect the company against credit risk, contributing to an effective business operation
- Initiate risk assessment in conjunction with Group Credit requirements
Requisites
- NQF Level 5 (Higher Certificate in Accounting and Finance or Credit Management)
- 3 years' experience in Credit Management/ Credit Administration in a Commercial or Manufacturing environment
- Credit experience in SAP applications (FI) (Accounts Receivable/Credit)
