Old Mutual is recruiting a Credit Manager, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- Monitors and manages the overall credit risk exposure
- Assesses and monitors other relevant business risks
- Provides appropriate reporting at all levels
- Manages credit assessments at entity and segment levels
- Ensures credit approvals comply with the relevant lending framework and applicable legislation
- Develops and maintains credit scoring models to assess credit risk of customers.
- Maintains and reviews credit, collections, and relevant policies.
- Manages credit assessments at entity and segment levels
- Conducts market intelligence & provide recommendations
- Maintains and manages applicable third-party relationships
- Maintains effective communication with internal stakeholders
- Collaborates effectively across the group to achieve personal and business wide results
- Manages relevant projects and initiatives for the business as delegated by head of the Business Unit
Requisites
- Namibian Citizenship
- BCom or Relevant Degree
- 5 - 8 years Banking, Credit or Finance experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Above average numerical ability
- Ability to work under pressure
- Managerial experience with ability to guide/ coach
- Strong team player
