Agribank is recruiting a Credit Manager, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- Reporting to Executive Credit , the incumbent will be responsible to ensure that all policies and procedures for credit management are adhered to across Agribank and to mitigate the credit risk of the loan portfolio
- Ensure that the quality of the loan book is soundly maintained
Duties
- Enforce credit policies, procedures and lending norms and prudential practices
- Oversee credit evaluations, reviews, monitoring and controls
- Support the Credit Executive w.r.t reports to Exco and Board on departmental business plan and loan book soundness
- Securities, safe custodial (SSC) and registration services
- Department efficiencies and system effectiveness
- Manage teams of credit analysts
Requisites
- Preferably a B. Comm or similar with Accountancy and Economics as majors
- Six (6) to eight (8) years work experience in finance, credit management and con-tract evaluation, of which 2 should have been in a managerial/professional role within credit or loans in banking.
