Credit Origination Lead

Description

• To oversee, strategically manage and lead the day-to-day functions of the credit origination team and portfolios across sub-segments in area of responsibility

Duties

• Manage performance of team in area of responsibility against expected individual and team delivery targets and Provide direction, coaching, and regular feedback to employees to improve performance and implement performance improvement initiatives
• Model and coach behaviours that build rewarding relationships, encourage innovations and allow others to provide exceptional customer service
• Brainstorm, identify, implement and drive innovative best practice ideas within the organisation to ensure increased efficiencies and maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and provide of advice to relevant stakeholders
• Influence the development of appropriate organisational structures, capacity and delivery systems
• Provide input into the budget and manage and report on budget usage that reflects delivery of planned work within agreed parameters

Requisites

• 3-year business degree (minimum)
• Relevant Certifications Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a Commercial or Corporate Banking environment specialising in Credit
• 3-5 years managing a team
• Beneficial Qualifications:
• Relevant Honors degree
• Charted accountant
• MBA
