FNB Namibia is recruiting a Credit Risk Manager (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
  • To maximize the banks risk-adjusted rate of return by managing credit risk in the entire portfolio and individual transactions. Manage Credit Analysts
  • Responsibilities:
  • Reduce bad debt against Total Performing Loans Utilization
  • Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialization
  • Manage team performance in achievement of business objectives
  • Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development
  • Compile financial reports that adhere to financial reporting guidelines as set out by FirstRand
  • Provide input into the development of the tactical strategy, and develop and implement a supporting operational strategy
  • Manages risks in own area of responsibility
  • Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
  • Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
  • Creates solutions to meet customer demands to deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
  • Comply with risk policy and process requirements to mitigate risk and improve operational performance
  • Perform credit pricing for economic and financial benefit
  • Measure the implementation of Credit Portfolio Growth Strategy and monitor emerging strategies to align results
Requisites
  • Minimum Qualification - Postgraduate Commerce Degree
  • Preferred Qualification - Relevant postgraduate Law Degree
  • Experience - 3 to 5 years relevant experience with a minimum of 2 years experience in Credit report writing and presentation
