FNB Namibia is recruiting a Credit Risk Manager (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- To maximize the banks risk-adjusted rate of return by managing credit risk in the entire portfolio and individual transactions. Manage Credit Analysts
- Responsibilities:
- Reduce bad debt against Total Performing Loans Utilization
- Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialization
- Manage team performance in achievement of business objectives
- Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development
- Compile financial reports that adhere to financial reporting guidelines as set out by FirstRand
- Provide input into the development of the tactical strategy, and develop and implement a supporting operational strategy
- Manages risks in own area of responsibility
- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
- Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
- Creates solutions to meet customer demands to deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
- Comply with risk policy and process requirements to mitigate risk and improve operational performance
- Perform credit pricing for economic and financial benefit
- Measure the implementation of Credit Portfolio Growth Strategy and monitor emerging strategies to align results
Requisites
- Minimum Qualification - Postgraduate Commerce Degree
- Preferred Qualification - Relevant postgraduate Law Degree
- Experience - 3 to 5 years relevant experience with a minimum of 2 years experience in Credit report writing and presentation
