FNB Namibia is recruiting a Digital Banking Head, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • To drive Bricks to Clicks in line with the group strategy by growing digital channels and products penetration, thereby generating revenue by identifying sales opportunities and selling the correct product offering to potential clients as well as maintaining the current base by providing exceptional support and service
Duties
  • Lead the strategic development and implementation of digital solutions across the 3 product pillars as well as to oversee the online banking, the FNB Banking App and Mobile Banking (USSD), driving customer experience and adoption, ensure adequate security protocols, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stay abreast of industry trends to enhance the overall Digital Value Proposition
  • Build and execute a comprehensive plan aligning to business objective relating to digital, which Include assessing market trends, identifying technological opportunities, and developing a road for Digital Migration and collaborate with key stakeholders that would foster innovation and sustained competitive advantage
  • Oversee and coordinate alignment in all retail platform strategic initiatives to enhance user experience, streamline the operation side, and ensure seamless integration with emerging technologies
  • Working closely with data analytics, product houses and maintaining a customers-centric approach to drive digital migration
  • Orchestrate the transition from traditional channels to digital channels
  • Implementing robust onboarding processes, educating customers on digital services, and optimizing platform processes for better efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sufficient security measures are in place, meet regulatory requirements to instill confidence across the ecosystem
  • Oversee the planning and execution of testing processes to ensure that digital banking channels meets user requirements and expectations
  • Involves collaborating with stakeholders to define testing criteria , coordinating testing schedules, and assessing the results to validate the functionality and usability
  • The goal is to confirm that system aligns with user needs before deployment, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory user experience
Requisites
  • Have a Post Graduate Commercial, Science or Engineering Degree
  • Have 5-8 years’ experience in a similar environment, of which 2-3 years ideally at management level
  • Are a highly energetic self-starter with an initiative to drive projects
  • An excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Have teamwork and assertiveness skills
