Roads Authority is recruiting a Examiner: Vehicle & Driver, to be based in Walvis Bay, Namibia.
Description
- Responsible for conducting examinations and testing of vehicles and drivers according to set standards and legislation
- Business Unit: Transportation
- Division: Transport Regulation Service
- Patterson Job Grade C3
Duties
- Examine applicants for learners license
- Examine applicants for driving license
- Examine vehicles for roadworthiness
- Examine applicants for instructor’s certificate
- Keep records of all tests conducted
- Attend to court proceedings
Requisites
- Grade 12 with 15 points
- Traffic Diploma as Vehicle & Driver Examiner
- Trade Diploma in Motor Vehicle Mechanics will be an added advantage
- Three (3) years’ experience in traffic law enforcement operation or auto mechanic - Code A and CE Driving Licenses (must have)
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills - Certificate of good conduct obtainable from the Namibian Police (not more than six months old)
