CENORED is recruiting an Executive: Finance & Commercial Services , to be based in Otjiwarongo, Namibia.
Description
- The overall objective is to achieve financial sustainability for CENORED through prudent financial management, improved customer service, enhanced revenue growth and minimised commercial losses
- The incumbent reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer
Duties
- Maintain healthy profitability, liquidity, and solvency ratios
- Improved Liquidity, Budget Control, Cost Containment, Cash flow and Treasury Management
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, Good Governance Practices and adherence to all National Regulations
- Financial modelling and timeous application for cost reflective tariffs and implementation thereof
- Oversee a complete, accurate and timeous billing process
- Implement strategies to enhance revenue growth
- Oversight over the implementation the Customer ServiceCharter
Secure affordable internal/external funding sources for electrification projects
- Set departmental standards of performance and monitor the achievement thereof
- Initiate and support strategic staffing initiatives and manpower development by developing selection and sourcing strategies to ensure availability
- of key personnel
- Champion the implementation of PMS and performance culture in the department
- Create a safe and conducive working environment for all staff
Requisites
- Honours degree in Finance/Accounting/Commerce
- Completed articles with reputable audit firm
- Chartered Accountant is an added advantage
- Executive/ Senior or Management Development Training is an added advantage
- Eight (8) years’ experience of which five (5) years were at Management level in the electricity sector
- Managerial exposure to the dynamics of EDI/ESI added advantage
- Experience in SAP Financial model
- Project Management and People Management experience
