External Audit Senior Manager

Duties

• Planning and execution of audit fieldwork and statutory reporting across a portfolio of clients
• Project management of all aspects of audit including agreeing audit timelines, team briefings, and supervision and delivery of audit work
• Budgeting and monitoring the financial performance of projects, focusing on optimizing profitability
• Providing technical input to a number of projects and providing review and challenge to deliverables produced by the team
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships at existing and target clients
• Contribute to the development of new propositions/services and the refreshing of existing products/services
• Actively identifying and supporting business development opportunities, including supporting the team with sales activities such as proposal writing and assisting with client presentation
• Working closely with the Partners to play an active role in the proposal and pitching of products/services for new work
• Work with other KPMG teams and provide technical input
• Work with the Partner responsible for Risk Management within the firm and other jurisdictions

Requisites

• Leadership skills and ability to act as a role model
• Drive and resilience and ability to thrive in a pressured environment
• Excellent working knowledge of IFRS
• Well-developed supervisory skills e.g. coaching and motivation
• Strong communication skills
• Professional qualification fully attained (CA, ACA or ACCA)
• Relevant working experience of minimum 5 years
• Prior Big 4 experience is a plus
• Ability to deliver under pressure
• Ability to travel for business
