Coca Cola Beverages Africa is recruiting a Fleet Controller, to be based in Oshakati, Namibia.
Description
- Coca-Cola Beverages Africa requires the services of a Fleet Controller, reporting to the Asset Care Manager
- The purpose of the Fleet Controller is to supervise the fleet maintenance team in order to ensure delivery vehicles & forklifts, are maintained in good serviceable condition
- To do formal fleet audits in operations other than own workshop
Duties
- Manage and control of daily fleet operations
- Maintain excellent fleet availability
- Measure and maintain daily fleet KPIs
- Optimize Fleet utilization
- Maintain Fleet Health and safety standards
- Comply with outlet and market execution standards
- Report, investigate and rectify fleet incidents
- Daily fleet reports and updates
- Adherence to the proposed Fleet Maintenance Strategy
- Maintain Fleet legislative requirements
- Ensure all Vehicle checklist reports are actioned
- Maintain supplier relations
- Vehicle condition and replacement suggestion report
- Monthly Fleet condition report
Requisites
- Grade 12
- Nationally Qualified Vehicle Mechanic with a Transport diploma
- Minimum five (5) years as a Vehicle Mechanic (preferably diesel)
- Minimum three (3) years in a supervisory capacity
- Two (2) years of relevant technical experience in the FMCG/Logistics industry
- Basic computer knowledge
- Working knowledge and skills in SAP (PM, FI & MM)
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Result and Execution driven
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work under pressure
- Must have good ‘troubleshooting' skills
