FNB Namibia is recruiting a Foreign Exchange Product House Head, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • To drive the strategic direction of the Foreign Exchange Product House across all three segments, manage key stakeholder relationships and effectively implement efficiencies and operational processes for the benefit of the business
Duties
  • Drive the strategic direction of the Foreign Exchange Product House across all three segments, manage key stakeholder relationships and effectively implement efficiencies and operational processes for the benefit of the business
  • Create a strong awareness of the environmental and market impacts on the business and implement strategies to defend or take advantage of these and optimize/develop cross border payments process and manage the systems utilized
  • Oversee the compliance to exchange control rulings and related vetting of cross border flows
  • Identify and implement new product opportunities and additional currency trading opportunities to grow the size of the market available and develop and implement a pricing strategy to maximise revenue and drive client behaviour
  • Implement channel strategies to support the objective of placing clients in the most efficient channel and ensure that credit and operational and regulatory risk issues are identified and managed appropriately to support the business
Requisites
  • Are a holder of a Bachelor of Commerce and an ACI Dealing Certificate
  • Have a minimum 5 years’ experience in the Foreign Exchange Markets
  • Have a minimum 2 years’ experience in managing cross functional teams
  • Have experience in Project Management
  • Have experience in Cross border payments processes and systems
  • Have a strong operational understanding of systems and processes of cross border payments including SWIFT, AML reporting and BoP reporting
  • Have an understanding of Exchange Control regulations
  • Have an ability to understands, quantify and mitigate risk
  • Have a high standard of ethical behaviour
  • Have an ability to implement strategic initiatives and manage projects
  • Are outcome driven with a Strong business acumen and financial proficiency
