Description
- Transforms and rejuvenates business into a sustainable distribution channel Maximises the marketing focus and business development opportunities Drives BEE initiatives and performance contracts with BEE partners Drives various IT tools and processes
- Develops management structures and ensures that the relevant training and upskilling takes place Ensures that the relevant support structures are in place and maintained Executes continuous talent management and performance management
Duties
- Responsible for the formulation of the Retail Mass Market strategy, interpret and translate priorities into the retail business strategy
- Manages performance, monitors, and utilizes resources to ensure sales and productivity within the Retail Mass Market distribution channel
- Ensures that the business risks are minimized
- Maintaining an in depth understanding of markets, socio-political and economic opportunities in all regions and deals with related environmental threats
- Manages profitability and delivery of new business in the market
- Manages all stakeholders in the Retail Mass Market segment
- Builds strong relationships, networking focus, manage external relationships and build relationships with clients
- Manage different value propositions for different stakeholders and markets at all levels
- Focuses on rebuilding and growing the business
- Builds a high-performance and ethical conduct in the distribution channel
- Manages resources, markets and technology and utilizes all resources including support processes to ensure that targets are met
- Ensures financial industry regulations are adhered to
Requisites
- Namibian Citizen
- Bachelor’s / Honors degree or related qualification (NQF level 7)
- 5 - 10 years management experience in the Financial Services industry
- Sales/distribution management will be an advantage
- Product / technical knowledge will be an advantage
- Computer literacy
- Aligning performance for success
- Building positive working relationships
