Gobabis Depot Supervisor Temp (m/f)

Duties

• The Depot Supervisor oversees the receipt, storage and transportation of bulk petroleum products
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Ensures terminal is operating in accordance with all safety regulations and company defined policies and procedures
• Responsible to ensure cost effective storage, handling and distribution of fuel and petroleum products
• Supervision of Staff and Capacity Development
• Receiving and distributing
• Personal effectiveness and competency development
• Takes a proactive action in respect of recording and providing evidence in support of regular performance reviews undertaken by the Supervisor
• Responsible for ongoing training and safety exposures that involve terminal operations and personnel having knowledge of all emergency procedures
• Continually coaches subordinates as part of the on-the-job skills development initiatives

Requisites

• National Diploma in Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting or Economics and or Technical will be an added advantage
• At least 5 years’ experience in petroleum depot operations at managerial or supervisory level supplier coordination/management role or similar position
