  • The incumbent will report to the Executive: Group Human Capital and Citizenship and will work closely with departmental heads to ensure the effective implementation of Human Capital priorities

Duties
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:
  • Support with development, management, and optimization of all deliverables related to the DE&I programme
  • Work closely with the HC teams and leaders to ensure that the DEI agenda is successfully implemented in line with business objectives
  • Benchmark best practices and keep abreast of diversity-related trends and legislation
  • Promote and develop training programs to enhance employee understanding of inclusion
  • Talent Investment Framework:
  • Support Head: Talent with implementation of the Talent Investment Framework
  • Drive talent attraction & acquisition, optimization & development and retention strategies in collaboration with the respective stakeholders
  • Participate in the development of the HC Strategy
  • Implement talent investment strategies and programs that enable outstanding organizational, team, employee, and business performance
  • Support with the development of frameworks, toolkits and communications that support our talent processes and initiatives
  • Expand the existing talent review process to provide a structure for ongoing management of key talent, embedding a “talent lifecycle” culture into the Group
  • Leverage and enhance existing strategies, processes and tools to impact associate engagement, retention, and career growth
  • Provide support in the design, development and implementation of the talent review process that is required to achieve business goals and results in the creation of internal bench of top talent
  • Leadership Framework:
  • Support the Head: Leadership with the design and implementation of the Leadership Mindsets
  • Support the Head: Leadership with the design of presentations for interventions that need to be held
  • Support with initiatives designed for the purpose of team development, change and other learning initiatives
  • Assist with sourcing and facilitation of programs and processes designed to drive high-performing teams and to ensure a pipeline of successors
  • Organisational Culture:
  • Drive uptake and use of the Group’s employee recognition system
  • General management of the online recognition platform
  • Drive the use of online employee engagement app (MyCapricorn), including vendor management & liaison
  • Manage the administration related to all new employees and those exiting the organization for both the online recognition system as well as MyCapricorn
  • Manage the new employee orientation process in collaboration with People Development and also assist with design of the relevant presentations related to Culture and Leadership
  • Stand is as presenter at the Group Onboarding Session if and when required
  • Responsible for the Connector Programme in collaboration with Group Brand and Corporate Affairs in terms of data collection, communication and coordinating of events and upskilling sessions
  • Assist the Lead: Culture to drive and embed the culture re-embedment process in collaboration with the chosen vendor
  • Manage employee gifts process, including order, issuing and vendor management
  • Reporting:
  • Supporting subject leads with relevant reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • Managing reporting dashboards (PowerBI), including standard monthly tracking of relevant action programmes
  • Create and manage talent metrics that enable the organization to identify and provide solutions to key areas for improvement in how we’re managing, building and retaining key talent (PowerBI)
  • Track metrics, report on trends and participate in joint action-planning to address negative trends
  • Measurement and reporting of progress against plan and in line with risk management reports and recommendations
  • Administration:
  • Ensure timely and correct communication and resolution of queries in line with stipulations as per the SLA’s
  • Leverage external vendors as required to support the design and delivery of group-wide/customized Talent, Leadership, DE&I and Culture programmes consistent with policies
  • Key interactions:
  • Collaborate with other entities and BP’s to ensure integrated and aligned outcomes in everything we do according to the Human Capital Operating Model
  • Partner with business to processes and programmes that are aligned with Human Capital objectives and the further Group-wide strategic objectives
  • Consult with HR Business Partners when requested to help manage complex design or implementation issues related to talent
Requisites
  • Experience/Knowledge and Skills:
  • At least 5 years HR/Organisational Development/Effectiveness experience, specifically with the design and delivery of OD programmes
  • Understanding of /Experience in the Financial Services Industry would be an advantage
  • A good understanding and proven experience with OD concepts such as Talent, Leadership, Organisational Culture and DE&I
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively interface with different levels of employees and management on a professional level
  • Is comfortable with change and ambiguity
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments and prioritize demands in a high energy, fast paced environment
  • Must be a collaborative team player
  • Be self-directed and motivated
  • Ability to understand and articulate the strategic value of integrated people processes
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as with a remote team
  • Ability to think creatively, manage own time and take initiative to drive projects
