Group Forensic Services Manager (m/f)

Duties

• Accountable for achieving results and deliverable through the active management and leadership of a team
• Prioritize, manage, review and timeous finalize technical forensic and fraud investigations from team
• Considers the merits of findings and make suitable recommendations
• Compile and present various reports on findings and recommendations with regards to the Group Forensic Service function
• Conduct sensitive, project related and cross border investigations
• Record and review plans for projects and complex investigations
• Maintain detail knowledge, and provide training, relating to forensics and fraud in financial services industry, criminal law, labour law and OMNAM forensic framework and risk policies
• Manage all stakeholder relationships, including customers, OMNAM Boards and OMNAM business executives, service providers, industry forums, and the like
• Collaborate effectively with others to achieve results
• Create a positive climate for optimal performance;
• Accepting and living the OMNAM values

Requisites

• Namibian citizenship
• 3-year qualification or equivalent in forensic and fraud related field such as policing, law, account or risk management; fraud examiner certificate and/or forensic or law related qualification is advantageous
• 5 years working experience in the field of forensic and fraud investigations; and 3 years working in a corporate environment is essential
• Insurance product knowledge and policy Interpretation is advantageous
• Strong forensic and fraud investigative and technical skills
• Proven leadership, development and performance management of staff and teams
• Organized and structured approach, with attention to detail and quality orientation
• Confident, self-motivated but also a team player and effective networking skills
• Strong influencing and negotiating skills with excellent conflict handling skills
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining and delivering high service levels
• Excellent communicator with a flawless command of the English language, with strong reporting and presentation skills
