Duties
- To control the operations of the screen shop Section, provide an effective screen maintenance service to the plant, to prevent production delays and to perform various handyman tasks
Requisites
- Recognized Grade 12 certificate or Equivalent National Senior Certificate (20 points over 5 subjects, and an E in English) with Mathematics or Science
- Code 08/ BE Drivers License
- Three years semi-skilled artisan with welding/gas cutting, carpentry and masonry experience or experienced
- Metallurgical Operator qualified in all plant operations
- Job Specific competencies include:
- Practical working knowledge of metallurgy plant operations
- Technical skills in using equipment/tools
- Ability to plan and organize work
