Nampost is recruiting a Head: Business Enabling Services (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • To develop and implement the operational technology systems of all NamPost Business and Functional Units (in accordance with Strategy and Systems Architecture) across all business applications and integration, databases and database interconnectedness as well as banking enabling systems and business applications and ensure their effective purposeful development deployment/availability within the business. Develop the sustainable capacity for enabling solutions in the business, wherever possible digitized for user interfaces and experiences (UI & UX)
Duties
  • Business Enabling Services (BES) Processes, Procedures & Control (includes informing & guiding Technology Policies & Procedures)
  • BES Strategy Development & Implementation Effectiveness
  • Banking Enabling Systems, Solutions & Services Effectiveness
  • Business Enabling Systems, Solutions & Services Effectiveness
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Relationships Development Effectiveness
  • Database Development & Implementation Effectiveness
  • Systems Integrated Administration Effectiveness
  • BES related Risk, Governance and Disaster Recovery Effectiveness
  • Human Resources Development & Management Effectiveness
  • BES Projects Management Effectiveness
Requisites
  • A four (4) year Degree (BSc or BTech) in Computer Science or Information Technology. Eight (8) years’ industry experience of which five (5) years must be at management level
  • Experience in a technical role within the financial services, telecommunication, postal, retail and logistics environment will be an advantage
  • Certification in Enterprise Architecture, System and Software development and banking related technologies and support will be an advantage
