Sanlam is recruiting a HPC Paraplanner, in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
  • The successful candidate will be required to efficiently and effectively analyse, strategize and compare client portfolios to identify clients' needs
  • Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial plan for intermediaries
  • Apply Risk and Investment products knowledge to deliver analyses quick and accurate
  • Manage and prepare client meeting support
  • Administer all regulation and tax implications accordingly
  • Providing timely and professional feedback to intermediaries, clients or within the department
  • Prepare record of advice and financial plan for advisors to present to clients
  • Identify investment and risk business opportunities
  • Draw quotations as specified
  • Deliver analyses of clients and company comparisons
  • Understand and apply accurate regulation and tax implications
  • Effective client service to stakeholders
  • Portfolio reviews
  • Source policy and benefit information and handle replacements
  • Effective administration of all incoming and ongoing analyses requests
  • Thorough knowledge of products features, performance, rates and benefits for comparative purposes
  • Risk and regulation identification in all processes
  • Co-ordinate leads and campaigns
  • Identification of problems
  • Verification of data captured versus documentation submitted
  • Identify and request any outstanding FIA source documentation for entities
  • Report any discrepancies picked up to management and the compliance department
  • Thorough knowledge and tax regulation laws
  • Legislative compliance of a financial services/sales environment (FICA/FAIS/PPI etc)
Requisites
  • Grade 12
  • Degree in Commerce field will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the Insurance industry, New Business and Administration environment
  • Excellent product and system knowledge will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Sanlam's support services and administration processes
  • Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent English (verbal & written) language skills
  • One Local Namibian language- will be a competitive advantage
  • Intermediate administration, record keeping, data management and analyses
  • Intermediate Maths calculations will be required
  • Knowledge on tax regulation implications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Company's software, TE, Sanport and Sanfin
