Sanlam is recruiting a HR Business Partner, in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
  • The purpose of the job is to effectively deal with specified Human Resources functions for the Group. The successful applicant is responsible to delivering a wide range of HR services
  • Responsiblities:
  • Providing advisory and consultancy service to staff and management on a range of human resources issues, procedures and policies consistent with employee standards
  • Coordination and add value to the recruitment process, including selection, appointment, induction and reporting
  • Coordinating learning, training and development activities; identifies areas of training need and conducting development programs
  • Coordinating and administering monthly payroll process
  • Administer legislative/statutory requirements and duties (NAMRA, P.A.Y.E, NTA)
  • Undertaking of special projects related to human resources
  • Administer HR documentation and maintaining information related to employees
  • Provide service and consultation to staff and management to develop and initiate positive change and improvement
  • Performing administration tasks related to Human Resources
  • Providing service and support to various HR functions including
  • Performance management; Employment Equity/Affirmative Action strategies; Industrial relations strategies; etc
Requisites
  • A degree in HR and minimum of 3 years working experience in HR environment
  • Knowledge of SAP payroll system will be an added advantage
  • Experience in the life insurance industry will be an added advantage
  • Absolute proficiency in English (verbal and written)
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Office; Outlook
