FNB Namibia is recruiting a Human Resources Business Partner, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
  • To provide strategic partnership to Line Management by assessing business realities, offering solutions and advising on people investments that deliver performance through an integrated HR solution and generalist service (reward, performance, recruitment IR, OD, etc.)
  • Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that organograms are updated and aligned with the staff assessments
  • Provide professional advice to Line Management with regards to changes in organizational design
  • Ensure each position has a signed-off and updated role profile
  • Provides accurate advice/guidance on HR related practices, policies and procedures and ensuring adherence to the policies and procedures
  • Partner with line management to create an agile, flexible, responsive and transformed organization
  • Ensures that the on-boarding programme is well structured to ensure the on-boarding of new employees into their role
  • Administers a variety of test batteries including those for interest, personality, achievement and aptitude
  • Ensures that test that is administered complies with the professional standards
  • Ensures the effective administration of recruitment - Advertising, short listing, interviewing and placements
  • Coordinate and facilitate the job analysis process to ensure the correct development of role profiles and evaluation of positions
  • Administer and coordinate the correct implementation of the Performance Management system within area of responsibility Administer and coordinate the Talent Management & Talent Profiling process within area of responsibility
  • Manage performance results for the Functional Area by ensuring all staff have a valid performance contract and is scored up to date
  • Develop, implement and monitor a tactical and operational HR plan to close identified gaps
  • Coordinates and facilitate the effective implementation of diversity management initiatives of the Group
  • Administer and coordinate the implementation of organizational surveys and resultant interventions
  • Coordinate and facilitate various change management projects. Drive equity targets in area of responsibility and advise Line Management on equity requirements
  • Provides guidance in the creation of the required talent pools and succession pipelines to ensure that competencies are available to support business growth
  • Analyze skills availability in consultation with line managers and coordinates the overall supply and deployment of skills in consultation with the organizational effectiveness team
  • Manage personal development for the Functional Area by ensuring all staff have a personal development plan (PDP) that was discussed and signed bi-annually (Oct and April)
Requisites
  • HR degree or equivalent qualification
  • 3-years relevant corporate HR experience
