ICT Security Administrator (D1)

Duties

• NAMCLEAR is the Namibian Automated Clearing House (ACH) and is a designated Financial Markets Infrastructure (FMI) for the National Payment System
• The incumbent must protect and secure Namclear’s information and data from security vulnerabilities, unauthorized access, cyber threats, and attacks. The ICT Security Administrator is responsible for administering Namclear’s information and data security policies and practices. The incumbent is also accountable for ensuring authorized users can readily access information and that the information is protected in terms of confidentiality, integrity, and availability

Requisites

• Relevant ICT Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar
• Security Industry related certifications are distinct advantages
• At least five years of working experience in IT operations
• Supervisory experience will be a distinct advantage
• IT experience within the Financial Industry will be a distinct advantage

Technical

• Adequate knowledge of computer systems, software, and procedures related to the job
• Knowledge of Industry rules & regulations related to Namibia Payment systems will be an added advantage
• SQL Query writing (added advantage)
• Understanding and knowledge of PCI DSS (added advantage)
• Understanding and knowledge of ISO 27000 series of IT Security standards (more specifically 27002)
• IT Security Audit fundamentals and solid experience in COBIT, ITIL, -MCSE, MCSA
