Wecke & Voigts SuperSpar is recruiting an Imports Assistant Manager (SuperSpar Maerua), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
  • The role of Imports Assistant Manager is to help oversee the overall function of the department and ensure availability of stock to customers
  • Must translate product information to relevant customers in different languages to increase sales and department performance
  • Must have strong knowledge of Health Products and special dietary foods
  • Imports Assistant Manager is responsible for supplier engagement and orders for imported goods, German Products and Health Products
  • Must arrange for cross-border permits and handle all administration as required
  • Education & Experience:
  • Qualification in Retail or Hospitality Industry
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Administration at Supervisory level
  • In Absence of education:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Administration at Supervisory level
  • Literacy:
  • Exceptional interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy: Microsoft Excel
  • Numeric Literacy: Advanced calculations and proficient in accounting principles
