Internal Systems Auditor (ISA)/Internal Auditor: Information Systems (D4)

Duties

• NAMCLEAR is the Namibian Automated Clearing House (ACH) and is a designated Financial Markets Infrastructure (FMI) for the National Payment System
• The job incumbent will be responsible for the execution of risk-based information systems audits, governance, and independent compliance assessments of cyber controls to provide assurance of key business processes, ensure good internal systems effectiveness and act as a third-line defense for Namclear to provide reasonable assurance over the risk and compliance of other key business processes

Requisites

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting, Auditing, IT, IS or Computer Science
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certification in IT Audit such as CISA will be an advantage
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience
• Expert knowledge of internal auditing, internal controls, risk management, and finance and accounting practices and methods
• Should have experience in performing IT General Control reviews
• Comprehensive understanding of internal control environments within the IT function
• Ability to analyse data through the use of SQL, Python and/or Alteryx will be an added advantage
• Should understand cyber risks and controls

Technical/Soft Skills Required

• Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
• Internal and external customer service orientation
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
• Good knowledge of payment systems
• Expert knowledge of internal auditing, internal controls, risk management, and finance and accounting practices and methods
• Comprehensive understanding of internal control environments within the IT function
• Able to work independently and collaboratively across the business
• Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
