Hangana Seafood is recruiting a Laboratory Technician, to be based in Walvis Bay, Namibia.
Duties
- To ensure that the fish samples submitted to the laboratory for testing are tested according to established standards and results are released without delay
- KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Aseptic product sampling according to the sampling plan
- Microbiological testing of water, Fish and all hygiene monitoring swabs
- Organoleptic inspection on product
- Chemical, consumable and equipment inventory for the Lab
- Equipment verification
- Recording and reporting results
- General & ad hoc
Requisites
- Grade 12
- 3 Year`s tertiary qualification in the field of Food safety, microbiology, food technology, food science or related life sciences
- Work experience in a microbiological laboratory
